Officials with Encino Energy recently presented a twelve foot by twenty foot tank to be used by the Wintersville Fire and Rescue.
It will help to train firefighters to operate in confined spaces as part of its new, three-level firefighter training facility.
Marking the donation with a ribbon cutting were Wintersville Fire Chief Rob Herrington; Scott Fairhurst, supervisor of environmental health and safety for Encino Energy; and staff with the fire department, Encino and the Renegade Group, who provided equipment and labor involved in delivering and placing the 400-barrel tank at the site.
“We’re delighted to be a part of Encino’s important work supporting the local fire department in Wintersville,” said Jake Percifull, CEO of Renegade Group.
“Safety is always our first concern as a team and we’re happy to play our part in promoting an industry-wide commitment to best practice.
Fire departments all over America deserve our constant support, and we’re delighted to be involved in this initiative.”
